Passionate about empowering frontline clinicians, Martin currently teaches Medical Law to undergraduate medical students and Masters of Public Health students at Monash University.
With an extensive background in health sector governance, Martin has served on the boards of directors for major public health networks, including Austin Health and Eastern Health, and has chaired professional standards hearing panels for the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). His professional journey also includes systemic insights gained from service as national president for Kidsafe Australia, working at the Coroners Court of Victoria, and years of experience as a dedicated medicolegal risk adviser — guiding practitioners toward safer medical practices and optimised patient outcomes.
