Meet the Team

Martin Botros

Martin Botros

Principal — Law & Clinical Education

Martin is an experienced lawyer and former physiotherapist who brings a unique, dual perspective to healthcare regulation, risk management, and clinical education. Passionate about empowering frontline clinicians, Martin currently teaches Medical Law to undergraduate medical students and Masters of Public Health students at Monash University.

With an extensive background in health sector governance, Martin has served on the boards of directors for major public health networks, including Austin Health and Eastern Health, and has chaired professional standards hearing panels for the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). His professional journey also includes systemic insights gained from service as national president for Kidsafe Australia, working at the Coroners Court of Victoria, and years of experience as a dedicated medicolegal risk adviser — guiding practitioners toward safer medical practices and optimised patient outcomes.

At HealthLaw Training, Martin delivers targeted, practical educational programs designed specifically to help your health service confidently navigate complex regulatory frameworks, mitigate systemic risk, and enhance clinical safety. His collaborative, deeply informed approach bridges the gap between law and everyday medical practice.

Dr Sean Fabri has worked extensively as a senior medical practitioner and clinical educator in the hospital setting. He brings decades of frontline experience to the areas of clinical practice, corporate governance, and professional standards. Deeply invested in the development of the healthcare workforce, he has mentored a generation of practitioners through his supervision of interns and international medical graduates, alongside his role teaching Professional Practice at the University of Melbourne.

His broader expertise in the health sector spans critical regulatory and advisory frameworks, including chairing the subcommittee at the Postgraduate Medical Council of Victoria, in close collaboration with the Victorian Department of Health and AHPRA. His experience in workforce issues, governance, and clinical oversight provides a comprehensive understanding of the legal, ethical, and clinical boundaries that healthcare organisations and healthcare workers navigate daily.

As a collaborative training partner with HealthLaw Training, Sean is an experienced facilitator who translates complex professional expectations into practical, high-impact education for health services. The blend of clinical insight, understanding of regulatory compliance, and interprofessional collaboration leads to engaging, peer-to-peer training that helps healthcare teams mitigate risk, foster professional identity, and elevate patient safety.
